Done a quick search and LNER used one called Gill Sans according to this website, and it looks quite similar.

I've had a look through my installed fonts and found Arial Black to be the closest font.

Gill Sans

Also look at Eurostile (the Virgin Atlantic Font) which I downloaded yonks ago but can't remember from where. This gives the R a much more squarified (is that a word??) look but the little leg on the R is not the same.
