Siding At Swindon Station

Hi everyone,

Whilst passing through Swindon today on the train I noticed a siding leading to a locked gate. On the other side of the gate it looked like the siding led to a large warehouse. I also seem to remember seeing a covered bogie freight wagon by itself. Is the siding and warehouse still in use?

Thanks very much for this. That would also perhaps explain the covered wagon as well. Perhaps it was waiting to be repaired and then collected?
