Both, remember the MMI is part of the psychometric testing
Thank you. I have DMI coming up but passed assessment centre a while back and previously failed the DMI for trainee train driver.
I only asked as my email states “Please note that if you are successful at this stage you will be required to attend a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening and medical examination on your general health at a later date“

I guess that’s just generic but wondered if the shunter process is different to that of a trainee train driver

Good morning

Not sure if I’m asking in the right post, I’ve got assessment for a shunter driver with c2c, if I failed part of the assesement 2 months ago for a another company as a trainee train driver role, am I aloud to take the test? Or is it 6 months wait? I did state I failed previously as one of the questions asked this, but still given the assessment date .

Any info would really help as I don’t want to go and do it all to find out It wouldn’t count.

Was your test result a failure to meet national standard or a failure to reach TOC standard?

She should get them 7 days before the tests - if she does not, she has an opertunity to declare this in the test center.

Hello thanks for the reply and sorry for my delay

I passed at National level only just found this out as I was told previous was a fail. But that’s at TOC standard. So my question has been answered.

On the system says pass, does that mean I will only have one more attempt for a TOC standard? Or am I still with 2 lives as it’s not a complete fail (sorry if I sound stupid)

If you have passed all the tests you have taken to at least national standard, then you will have 2 lives left. You would lose a life if you retook one of those tests and failed to reach the national standard.

Ok thanks. It’s for GTR

How did you get on with your interview if you’ve had it? I have one for the same position on Monday, not really sure what to expect, received an email saying if I am successful, my medical will be on Wednesday and then the MMI will be during the same week, with the job actually starting on 7th Jan!

Hi

Would anyone’ know if the TEA-Occ test is paper based or computer based?

Would you be able to note down the different tones eg. High and low on a bit of rough paper?

Is the phone director search and mark as you work down the page?

Many thanks to anyone who can help me out

Mines with Southeastern at Grove Park. Why wouldn’t you have to do a MMI? I actually had a Driver Manager interview with SW at the same time, I’ve opted for Shunter Driver purely because it’s convienient Location, but will kick myself if I don’t get it knowing that I passed up the oppurtunity to potentially be a mainline driver. I believe I just go back into the ‘talent pool’ for not being able to attend the interview

Do you just circle, cross out on the directory? Or do you have to wait till the end
Not sure what you mean by this but they make sure everyone understands exactly what’s required, it’s not complicated so don’t worry about it.

Remember that part of the testing process is being able to follow the instructions that they give to you on the day.

Any advice on passing the stage 1 tea-Occ test. I failed on this one last time and when I asked the assessor where I went wrong he was quite vague in his reply.
I think I must have misunderstood the instructions of what I was looking for on the telephone directory , any tips or advice would be appreciated.
