Hi guys,

I hope all is well.

I was wondering do we have anyone currently working or worked for Southern Railway as a Shunter Driver?

I was wondering if anyone could kindly shed some light on the following questions:

1. Is the Shunter Driver a direct promotion to become a Train Driver?

2. Are Sundays part of the working week?

3. Is the training equivalent to a mainline driver?

4. If one is based in Selhurst, as a Shunt Driver would you also manoeuvre units to and from the station platform?

5. As part of your PPE do you have to wear those ridiculous tango pants?

Thanks in advance:D
