Shunt Drivers FLHH Crewe

Hello,

Just applied for this (I think, I got no confirmation from the online form, no email to acknowledge...)

I have a couple of questions - what sort of shifts do they work? I dont mind unsociable variety, just want an idea. Do they just work at one set of Crewe sidings or between them all? It mentions I may need to lodge, so are the shunt drivers mobile?


What sort of salary is this?

I got it via twitter!! So how reliable that is...

Just completed an application for this, just worried that it did not go through correctly as, as soon as I hit the Submit button it said that it was successfully sent at the bottom, but all the text fields were blank again. Did this happen to anyone else. Immediately afterwards I tried just sending a blank form, but would not send because some required fields had not been filled in, so hopefully my filled in one was sent correctly.
And as stated got no confirmation e-mail or anything.

Yeah that's what happened to me, they confirmed they'd had it so I wouldn't worry. They're pretty bad for getting back to you, you'll not hear from them if you're unsuccessful

Has anyone who applied for this heard anything? I have noticed they took the job down from the jobs page, way before the closing date

Lots of internal applications have been put in for the Shunt driving positions at Crewe hence them removing the advert before the closing date.
