On a journey I made from Glasgow to Crewe this evening a group of young ticketless people got on at Carlisle who started talking about their sex lives, started playing explicit music and comparing their spliffs.

I was in Coach A (Quiet) although in any coach its not the behavoir you expect so I went to get the train manger who recommended I moved to Coach U although he went to deal with the trouble makers but knew it wasn't going to be easy as he said they are regular trouble makers.

Anyway given that I had a ticket that I had a reserved seat for in Coach A and I had to be moved by someone causing a nuisance who didn't have a ticket should I ask Virgin Trains for compensation or do you think that is asking for too much?

Is that a joke or something?

In that case, can I get a refund on a flight I had with a kid crying behind me?

No, you are not entitled to compensation, as the train manager provide you with a perfectly good solution.

But if you complain to Virgin, you might get lucky and get one of those £50 "we have taken your comments onboard" generic responses to make you go away.

I am locking this thread because that is all that can be said. Leaving this thread open is bound to cause problems.
