Should Bachmann and Hornby consider focusing their efforts on Mendip wagon stock? There seems to be a servere lack of this stock available, the most being the now discontinued & rather scarce RMC JHA's, as well as the rather unrealistic Hornby ARC PTA. The oppertional area of the Mendip/Hanson wagon stock is reasonably large, from Wales to Somerset and right the way through to Kent.
For 2010 I would like to see Bachmann and Hornby produce a Hanson JHA & a Mendip Rail JNA. Im sure pretty everyone will agree with me and there will be a big demand for these in both 00 and N gauge.
Hornby have the locos's aka. Class 59's, 60's etc. but where oh where is the aggregate wagon stock to go with it? It's like pork without apple sauce
Some new Freightliner aggregate stock such as the HIA and MJA would also go down nicely too, and would look great behind one of the new Bachmann powerhaul 70's and the new Kernow Limited Edition Bardon Aggregates 66.
It's time for change and to broaden the range! Bring on the Mendips!
