Short length, 00 gauge loco turntables

Hi,
I’d like to ask if anyone knows of any company that sells, either in kit form or pre-assembled, short length loco turntables in 00 gauge? By short length, I mean about 15-20cm in length for the rotating deck: All the most common designs of 00 gauge turntable seem to be around 12 inches long, which is completely unnecessary for my layout as most of my loco stud consists of tank locos of 0-4-0 and 0-6-0 wheel arrangement.

I’m developing plans for a roundhouse engine shed as a future layout extension, and once you try to fit in a 30cm turntable and add in the stabling roads around it, you end up with a structure taking up an awful lot of room, so I was wondering if there is anything available more suited for a smaller amount of space and 0-6-0 tank loco designs, or if I’ll have to modify an existing kit.

There is a PECO turntable kit for HO metre gauge which is listed as being 15.1cm long over the deck and needs a hole 15.5cm in the baseboard - sounds about right for your needs!

But obviously you would need to modify the deck to give you the 16.5mm track gauge instead of the provided 12mm gauge.

Part number is LK 1455, list price last year was around £34.

Ah that sounds about right for what I'm looking for, I'll have a search around for the item. I was hoping there would be something like that available, it shouldn't be too tricky to change the track guage on the deck.
