Short formed Azuma?

LNER journey alerts is reporting today’s 1536 Harrogate to King’s Cross as being formed of four coaches only. Specifically it states “This service is minus coach L due to maintenance”.

I’m assuming this is a coach locked out of service rather than an actual short form but does anybody know for certain? Aircon failure maybe?

Strange! RTT shows formed of 800210 coaches A - E.

On reflection I think it is just a five coach substitution for nine. Five coach Azumas don’t have coach L even when paired up, hence the confusion.
