I was caught short faring From Wimbledon to Waterloo. Received the letter of intended prosecution. I would like some help of what to respond. If someone has a draft of a letter that has been succesfull in avoiding court I would very much appreciate it.

There are lots of examples on the board of letters written similar to yours. Maybe search for "Vauxhall", as that will throw up a few. We encourage posters to draft their own letter though, rather than simply copying word for word, as it tends to come across more sincerely (assuming you avoid the use of AI).

You need to tell us more about your situation though, and post (with all identifying details obscured) the letter you have received. eg Where and how were you caught, is it your first time caught, have you done it before, how did you buy your ticket. etc.
