As a regular reader of this forum,I am astounded at the number of people who are asking for advice when caught for short faring,which seems in the majority of cases to be via Trainline.
I can only imagine that this is only a tiny percentage of the people actually doing this on a daily basis.
Do people think that the train operators foresaw what a problem this has turned out to be when they first authorised this method of ticket purchasing?
