Slightly off topic, but I'm sure the protestors would be really pleased to know I had to stop a very drunk out of control white British man from sexually assaulting 2 female passengers on a packed bus in West Yorkshire yesterday. The driver did nothing even though he drove past 2 foot patrol officers and a police van and admitted he knew what the cretin was up to as it happened downstairs in full view of his mirrors after I asked him to report it to the police. I was the only person who did something, not great on a packed bus when what could have happened would have been a lot more serious had I not got really angry with the bloke and scared him half to death, scary really when you think about it.

I doubt any wannabe protestors/patriots cared once you mentioned white British man.

They don't care about the victims at all. If they did, they'd step in whoever the perpetrator was - but they only take interest if it fits their view and they can benefit from it.

Sadly sounds about right. One of the regular drivers on that route is an Asian male.

A 33 year-old man has been charged and remanded in custody. He's due in court on the 19th October.

A court has heard how a man allegedly assaulted a bus driver and stole his vehicle, before crashing into a row of parked cars.

Ali Balhad, 33, faces a total of 10 charges relating to three separate incidents between 16 and 18 September.

Seven of the offences relate to the incident involving a bus on Court Street in Madeley, Telford, at about 18:30 BST on Friday.

Telford Magistrates' Court heard that Balhad is an asylum seeker of no fixed abode who entered the country illegally on 2 May.

A Yemeni national, police previously said Balhad had been in the Telford area for about a week.

He was not asked to enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on 19 October.

Monday's hearing was held in his absence and was overseen by deputy district judge Micaila Williams, appearing via video link from Kidderminster Magistrates' Court.

Two of the 10 charges - threats to kill and assault on an emergency worker - related to an incident on 16 September.
