Is there any other stock other than class 455s to shepperton
It is believed that from Dec timetable that the shepperton line will got completely over the Class 707’sIs there any other stock other than class 455s to shepperton
Are the Shepperton services worked in isolated diagrams? I thought all inner suburbans via Wimbledon interworked with each other, and with the Windsor side inner suburbans because of the circulars via Strawberry Hill.
The patterns change a bit in December, taking advatange of extra platforms available at Waterloo. Off Peak things will be split in to 5 seperate, shorter patterns.455 Diagrams tend to be:
Shepperton / Kingston Rounders tend to stay by themselves. Some Kingston rounders are diagrammed with 707s
One pattern tends to be
Up Guildford Via Cobham, Chessington South, Dorking, Hampton Court, Down Guildford via Epsom
Other Pattern
Up Guildford Via Epsom, Woking Bay, Down Via Cobham
This changes in the peaks though and they can wonder off the pattern.
The other evening i saw a 458/5 on a Shepperton Via Richmond Evening peak service.
But from Dec timetable as mentioned Shepperton should be wholly 707s.
I read a Twitter rumour that the 707 introduction for Shepperton has been delayed until 2020 - anyone know if this is right, and why?As mentioned above, 707s from December (thought to be swapped with the units from the Kingston Loop).
During 2018, a pair of 458s were diagrammed on the Shepperton via Kingston circuit all day, And a pair of 450s worked the 1813 Sheppy via Richmond. (I hated dispatching the latter as this used to always be full and standing at Clapham, until it was sensibly rediagrammed with 455s)
They probably don't want to be introducing changes during the strike action?I read a Twitter rumour that the 707 introduction for Shepperton has been delayed until 2020 - anyone know if this is right, and why?
