Just a quick query which it appears impossible to find out via Northern Rail or Travel South Yorkshire.

Trains between Sheffield and Barnsley are replaced by buses all this weekend (11-12 July), unfortunately the timetables don't say where in Sheffield the buses leave from. Previously I'm sure they used to line up at the taxi rank by the drop off car park, but I'm sure that when TPE had bus replacements earlier this year they left from Sheffield Interchange rather than the station itself.

Anyone have any idea?

The Northern Rail website says:
"Sheffield: Pick up / drop off at bus stand E1 or E2 in the bus station."

This was in the Enigneering works section of the website; it's a bit weird and I had to fiddle with it to get this info.

(For Barnsley it says the buses stop outside the station as expected).

They go from the bus interchange a couple of minutes away from the train station.

If you're not familiar with it walk out of the main exit of the station, cross over the pedestrian crossing and there's a little covered walkway to your right. That brings you out right in front of the bus station, go through the entrance directly opposite the walkway and rail replacements normally go from the first two stands on the right hand side.
