Sheffield - London 31st July

Sounds easy but I need to get there before 1230pm and leave after 1830pm , it can be the first train there and the last train back.
I can start from Doncaster and even go via Birmingham if cheaper , does anyone know if there is any offers on ?

It seems to me that there are Advance singles between Sheffield and St Pancras at times which meet your needs. They are available at eastmidlandstrains.co.uk, which charges £1 less than other sites, at present for £16 each way Standard and £17 or £21 First Class. One third off if you have a national Railcard.

Bookings for this date have not opened yet, but there's often £5 or £9 fares on the 0527 out of Sheffield on megatrain.com - they're currently booking until about the 17th.

Trains from Doncaster at 09:35 and 10:36 currently at £9.50, return at 18:50 is also £9.50, if you book through East Coast. These are advance tickets ie only available on the service that you book them for.
