Sheffield Conductor - Staff Parking

Good Afternoon all

My first thread so please be nice

Fingers crossed I start my Conductor Training in April and wondered what the parking situation is like in Sheffield when/if I qualify.

I did ask the question in my interview but the answer was a bit shady and both people interviewing said that they lived in Sheffield so just walked to work.

I will be travelling from outside Sheffield so will need to park regular. Does anyone know what the staff parking situation is and/or where the best place to park is if there is no such thing.

You will go into the queue for a pass, but expect to wait a long time. Some people park in the casino car park, some on street nearby.

Yep I’m training in Leeds. The training centre is 5 minutes walk from the station so it’s not a bad commute at all to be honest. I dreaded it before I started, but I don’t mind it now.
