Boarded Virgin to Crewe two weeks ago with a reserved seat in coach C - seat 2
this is opposite the crew managers office - 2 single seats just next to the 'shop'
as i found my seat the crew manager said,
'oh pop down to the end of Coach G and have one of those unreserved seats.... and i will tell the train guard'
Coach G - oh, ok..... FIRST CLASS - and NO ONE in the coach either for ages!
Ticket Inspector just smiled at me and said 'you lucky bugger'
Complimentary tea and coffee? Why not.... Thank you!
Crew Manager said 'you got lucky there'
what a great start to a holiday!!!
