Friday 5 September
I was heading to Bridlington for a 'feed the meerkats' experience at Bridlington Animal Park. So wanted to tick as many stations off as possible (thanks to an East Yorkshire Round Robin):
Nafferton
Hutton Cranswick
Driffield
Meerkats
Then time for a quick there-and-back to Bempton
Arram (only 11 trains a day in total)
I need to go back and do the three stations north of Bempton - to Seamer - and I'll have done all the stations from Hull to Scarbabdos.
Saturday 6 September
Heading down to a party in Bournemouth, so had time to do:
Brockenhurst
Lymington Pier
Pokesdown
I didn't have time to do Lymington Town, but that's OK as I want go back at some point and get the ferry to Yarmouth.
Sunday 7 September
I had all day to get back to Yorkshire, so meandered:
Branksome
Basingstoke
Reading West
Twyford
I made a repeat stop at Maidenhead which is special to me as my great-great-great grandfather was the building contractor on the original 1871 station.
Burnham
Langley
West Drayton
Iver
Heathrow Terminal 4
Heathrow Terminal 2&3 (my 600th station!)
Heathrow Terminal 5
Once I've done Hanwell, West Ealing and Acton Main Line, I'll have done all the Elizabeth line stations west of Paddington.
Monday 8 September
I wanted to tick off 2 Yorkshire stations that have a limited service:
Eastrington (6 trains a day, so now I've done all the stations from Manchester to Bridlington)
followed by an inadvisable 5½ mile walk to
Saltmarshe (on average a train every 2 hours in each direction)
Total NR stations done now: 603
