I'm guessing making use of the peak time half hourly service? Although having half an hour at Grateley couldn't have been fun (unless you like watching construction workers building a new pavement)

Can never be bothered really. Just need Widdrington and Acklington to finish the line to Berwick but unless the bus connection between the two is generally on time you end up missing the train back.

Pegswood was easy enough as it was arrival at 1812 then the 1826 bus back to Morpeth for the 1854 to Newcastle. Bit chingy at £2.50 for the 6 min journey though.

The other two will get done...eventually.

It was a peak time service. To be honest the half hour went by quite quickly as I was engrossed with twitter on my phone! I didn't even wonder from the station at all!

Cambrian Coast complete

Kite, I will be pestering you one day for advice on how to do just that many Cambrian shacks in one day, I daresay you made the value out of your £12.50 Cambrian Coast Day Ranger!

Many congratulations to you for getting the Cambrian done, and indeed for getting to well under 100 shacks to go. When I look at my lists and realise I have an enormous 778 mainline shacks to go, never mind the lot on light rail lines, I'm understandably just a bit jealous. Particularly as you're going to clear ATW well before me!

EDIT: Some stunning amount of work by all lately, some very impressive lists going up! Nothing for me for a while, unless I can possibly persuade myself to do some Southern shacks within Zone 6 on Thursday. Well, actually, I am due to get some in on the way back from Prague, stay tuned!

Of course, I'll list the stuff I do on #TechsWorldFrenzy too!

Basically starting on the 06:45 Barmouth to Birmingham service and finishing off bailing from the 2026 Pwllheli to Machynlleth at the remote Llanaber for a late evening walk along the seafront back to Barmouth
