Traffic suspended on the High-Speed Line between Valencia and Madrid​

⚠️ Traffic on the València-Madrid high-speed line will continue to be suspended, at least, until Sunday, November 3 inclusive, as a result of the DANA that has affected the Valencian Community.

Adif continues to work on the supervision of the railway infrastructure, but its repair will depend on the evolution of the emergency situation generated by the DANA and always following the indications of the State Security Forces and the emergency services.
Circulation on the Mediterranean Corridor remains suspended so that trains between Valencia and Barcelona are still not operating, for the time being. The Valencia Cercanías hub will not yet resume its usual operations. In both cases, some services could be recovered throughout the day depending on the weather and the state of the railway infrastructure.
Adif, in coordination with Renfe, will reopen tonight, if necessary, the stations of València Joaquín Sorolla, València Nord, Madrid Atocha and Madrid Chamartín

Almost all the deaths - 155 - have been recorded in Valencia, where hundreds of troops are helping with the rescue operation.

Back in Valencia, which, as we've been saying was hit hard by these floods, it's been announced that high-speed train services between the city and Madrid have been suspended for at least 15 days.
Spain's Transport Minister Óscar Puente, who spoke on the issue yesterday, says tracks that link Madrid and Valencia could even be out of use for up to three weeks due to the extent of the damage.
Two tunnels along the route, the Chiva and Torrent, have collapsed and railways tracks will need to be fully replaced, he's quoted by local media as saying.
Puente says commuter trains have also been affected, with three out of five lines "missing" and some 80km (49.7 miles) of lines "completely destroyed".

The picture looks to be of an Iberian gauge route.
With nothing said about the adjacent high speed lines from Madrid to Alacant and Barcelona, presumably these lines are operating.
Although the storm forecast has moved north to Tarragona, which is on the Madrid-Barcelona line as well as the Euromed route.

I've seen a report of a high speed train derailment "near Malaga" but with no injuries?

The Malaga AVE derailment incident does not appear to have caused any injuries.

• We remind you that circulation on the València-Madrid high-speed line will continue to be temporarily suspended and until further notice, between Madrid, Cuenca and Valencia as a result of the DANA that has affected the Valencian Community.
  Adif continues to work on the supervision of the railway infrastructure, but its repair will depend on the evolution of the emergency situation and always following the indications of the State Security Forces and the emergency services.
  Traffic on the Mediterranean Corridor and Cercanías València remains suspended.
  Adif, as long as necessary, will leave stations open at night in the affected areas.
• Traffic in Camp-Redó is interrupted due to water accumulation. It affects trains running between L'Aldea and Tortosa.
• Traffic between Baides and Matillas, on the Madrid-Grisén conventional gauge line, is interrupted due to the departure of several axles of a freight train.
  
  An alternative transport plan with road transfers has been established between Jadraque and Sigüenza.
• At the request of the operator and due to adverse weather conditions, the train service between Tarragona and Port Aventura is suspended.
• Due to an incident caused by heavy rains, a Malaga-Madrid high-speed train has suffered a bogie coming off the track in the front cabin as it passes through Álora. There are no personal injuries.
  Due to this incident, trains running on the Málaga-Antequera high-speed route are experiencing delays.

Metro closed for 3 weeks in the trams, 3 months in the heavy rail, even more south of Safranar.

Mainline to Barcelona should open on Monday, with the north side commuter lines. 4-6 months for the south side. West side will probably start long closures for electrification rn.

The railway OLE looks generally to have survived, but the trackside equipment/signalling will have been damaged/destroyed.
The number of cars piled high in streets is just amazing, including in districts which did not have much/any rain.
These will also have become battering rams for anything in their path, much like a reverse tsunami.
It all piled in from storms further inland.
High risk areas are now to the north-east and west, as the storm rotates.
Portugal (Algarve) may catch some of it too.

Hello! I live in Valencia and am helping with the clean up. Looking at the damage, I would be surprised if the main cercanias towards Xativa and Denia will reopen within the next 2 months.

Bridges are missing, parts of embankments have completely disintergrated, cars and other large objects stuck on railways, stations have been severly damaged. Signalling and other electrical equipment is also damaged, overhead wiring being a major issue (cantenary needs stabalising and in many places rewiring).

This update from Adif suggests that rail services between Valencia and Barcelona have resumed in some form, but there are still no services to the west and south of Valencia.
I can't find anything helpful on the Renfe site.

  Service has been restored on lines C5 and C6 of Cercanías and rail communications between Valencia and Barcelona.
  Adif, as long as necessary, will leave stations open at night in the affected areas.
• At the moment, the high-speed infrastructure between El Prat de Llobregat and Barcelona Sants is being reconnoitred to guarantee the safety of the service. For this reason, high-speed trains to and from Barcelona may be delayed.
• Due to the weather conditions, the circulation of all rodalies services in the area of Barcelona is interrupted.
• The route between Reus and Zaragoza continues without service.

Yes, services from Valencia to the north have restarted, except some trains to Vinaròs and Tortosa that don't run because Renfe management doesn't make sense. There seems to be no problem running their commercial services to Barcelona, but it's too dangerous to run the subsidised ones. No wonder the Catalan government doesn't want Renfe in their network, regardless of ideology.

Today, commuters from the south side of València in Renfe lines have no bus and no train. In FGV lines there's already rail replacement buses, except for badly hit Picanya, which isn't that far away from Paiporta and Torrent's buses to València.
