A bit confused as NRE shows £11.90 for a Seven Sisters to Welwyn Garden City Anytime Single for tomorrow, but brfares shows £12.60 for a✠VICTRIA LINE NTH Anytime Single and Southern/Thameslink mixing decks only show a £15.40 ✠ANY PERMITTED Anytime single.

What exactly does the ✠VICTRIA LINE NTH route indicate? Since you have to start by going South, I assume it means you change at Finsbury Park and not central London?

...National Rail stipulates that the ticket must be used on the Victoria Line at either Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale. Although the journey planner invariably states that Finsbury Park is the changing point on the GN line, there's nothing to say it cannot be used to London King's Cross - which of course presents a quite a few anomalies as the fare sometimes undercuts the London Terminals equivalent.

Another odd thing about these fares is that they're often priced differently in opposite directions. I actually wanted WebTiS to translate the route to plain English for me - assuming the "Victria Line Nth" is supposed to mean northbound travel on the Victoria line would make the tickets logic defying in many cases and require a detour south to Hackney Downs then back north if the ticket is a single with an origin on the Chingford branch.

and also the thread titled Valid route(s) for Hatfield to Tottenham Hale (via Victoria Line north)?

and also
....We know from other threads (e.g. this one about fares routed VICTRIA LINE NTH) that booking engines need to have various route codes (and I presume also ticket types) specifically "enabled", as there is a lot of stuff in the fares database that they aren't allowed to sell.
...which refers to...
The route suggested on the app is, as I was intending to travel, HAT to FPK and tube to Tottenham Hale. The ticket costing £7.45 with Gold Card discount, marked 'Via Victoria Line North'. But the app doesn't offer it. It only offers an Any Permitted at £9.25. Going via King's Cross is far slower, and I certainly don't need or want to go via Liverpool Street to have to catch the same train I'd get at Tottenham Hale some 10+ minutes earlier.
