Hooton Pagnell has a pub called "The Hostel", built originally to accommodate men of limited means who were studying to become Church of England priests. That's an unusual name for a pub and the only other one I can find is in Westminster Bridge Road, Lambeth, London, across the road from London Waterloo station. It was originally what its name suggested, a cheapish hotel with very limited pretensions to food and drink (speaking from personal experience) but has now changed its name to "The Walrus Bar and Hostel" and operates as a large pub with accommodation.
