Cwrt-y-Cadno is the centre of a current dispute between different parties / interests, over afforestation plans. There has been a long-running comparable situation: difference (sometimes bitter) -- afforestation projects versus nature conservation -- far off thence: in the extreme north of Scotland -- the Flow Country, "the largest blanket bog in Europe" and a naturalists' treasure -- on which much tree-plantation-creation (to seemingly rather "dodgy" ends) has gone on. In said area, is the Forsinard Flow National Nature Reserve: centring on the settlement of Forsinard, Highland (rail stuff follows, "for reference, not gricing" -- on the Far North line [it has a station thereon], in between Helmsdale and Georgemas Junction).
