Hexham in Northumberland also has an arts and performance venue called the Queen's Hall.
OBSERVATIONDunwich has been destroyed by the sea.
Marazion in Cornwall also has a church that is dedicated to All Saints.Capel Celyn's name is formed of the Welsh words for "chapel" and "holly". The evergreen with the red berries is also, presumably, associated with the name of Hollybush in Worcestershire (just -- very near the borders of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire: a few miles east of Ledbury).
Kidwelly - not far from Llansteffan as the crow flies, but a long way by road - also has a prominent ruined castle.
Login in Pembrokeshire also lies on the line of the River Taf.
Will my past-life Geography school howlers still keep haunting me until it is "clog-popping" time....(Per my info, Login is in Carmarthenshire -- border with Pembrokeshire a couple of miles to the west.)
If it's any consolation -- I can never remember what county Olney (of Pancake Race fame), is in. (Refers) - it's in Buckinghamshire; which just feels wrong to me.Will my past-life Geography school howlers still keep haunting me until it is "clog-popping" time....![]()
