Cemaes is allegedly the most northerly village in Wales, according to Wikipedia (though Bull Bay looks more northern to me :D ).

However, the most northerly village in Derbyshire definitely is Tintwistle.

Part of the film Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows was filmed on the limestone pavement at Malham Cove, in the vicinity of the village.

Other Harry Potter films " . . . Philosopher's Stone" and " . . . Chamber of Secrets" were filmed at Lacock Abbey in the village of Lacock, Wiltshire.

The Bromsgrove Guild of Applied Arts was a company of modern artists and designers associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement. It was founded by Walter Gilbert and active between 1898 and 1966. St Tudwal's Church, Llanstadwell contains a tall oak pulpit, dated 1917, by the Guild. Similarly, St Paul's Church, Bedford, contains an English altar and rails designed by the Guild.

In 1875 Torkington was one of eight civil parishes of Cheshire to be included in the Stockport rural sanitary district. This was a group of parishes governed by a sanitary authority and responsible for various public health matters such as providing clean drinking water, sewers, street cleaning, and clearing slum housing. It became the Stockport Rural District in 1894 following the Local Government Act of the same year. One of the other seven parishes (and the smallest one after Torkington) to be included in the district was Offerton.

The first armed clash of the 1798 Rising took place at Clane. The rebellion was largely suppressed by October 1798, but guerrilla fighting and sporadic activity kept on for some years, the final action leading to the defeat and death of rebel leader James Corcoran at Killaughrim Woods near Enniscorthy, County Wexford, in February 1804.

Enniscorthy is a noted centre for the cultivation of strawberries and - to a lesser extent - raspberries. Blairgowrie in Perthshire, Scotland is also a centre for the cultivation of soft fruit....but, in this case more raspberries than strawberries.

Alyth has one of the only two museums in Perthshire outside of the City of Perth. The other is the Atholl Country Life Museum in Blair Atholl.

Blair Atholl Airfield is owned by Lude House (also known as House of Lude or Lude Estate) and is located to the east of the village, on the northern side of the B8079. Lude House is a Category B listed country house and estate in Blair Atholl and was designed by the Scottish Architect William Burn (1789–1870) and completed in 1839. Another (non-residential) work by William Burn was the Blantyre Monument in Erskine; this was built to commemorate the bravery of Robert Walter Stuart, the 11th Lord Blantyre, and completed in 1825.

Erskine has been linked since 1971 to Old Kilpatrick on the North bank of the River Clyde by the Erskine road bridge, which replaced a chain ferry of the same name.

Bearsden has a reputation for being one of the most desirable residential suburbs on the North side of Glasgow....populated by doctors, solicitors and other well-heeled professionals. Newton Mearns in East Renfrewshire has a similar reputation on the South side.
