Rihanna lived in St John’s Wood until recently, having anecdotally first stayed in the area after filming the video for “We Found Love”, which was filmed in New Lodge, Belfast

One of the features of New Lodge was the Victoria Barracks, but it was demolished in the 1960s. There is a barracks of the same name in Ballater which houses soldiers of the Royal Guard when the Queen is at Balmoral.

Collyhurst Hall was once the seat of the Mosley family, lords of the manor of Manchester. The most famous (or notorious) family member was Sir Oswald Mosley, 6th baronet, who after a period as Labour MP for Smethwick founded the British Union of Fascists.
The Galton Bridge in Smethwick (as in the local rail station's name), spanning the New Line Canal and the railway, was built in 1829 by Thomas Telford; at the time of opening, it was the longest single-span bridge in the world. An identical bridge by Telford, opened fractionally later, spans the River Severn at Holt (Worcs.), a little way north of Worcester.

Bakewell Derbyshire
There is in Bakewell the Brew School: reckoned the UK's largest dedicated brewing and distilling school. It would seem to have an Irish counterpart -- the Irish Whiskey Academy, self-described as a "state of the art training facility", at Midleton (Co. Cork).

Abbeydomey in County Kerry is another settlement that was chosen as the site of a Cistercian Abbey.
The Irish-language equivalents of the above-bolded; and Monasterevin, Co. Kildare; are similarly constructed. For the Kerry settlement: Mainistir O dTorna = Monastery of the clan of Torna; for the Kildare one, Mainistir Eimhin = Monastery of Saint Evin [Eimhin].

Graiguenamanagh on the border between County Kilkenny and County Carlow also lies on the line of the River Barrow.
Struggling to find much to say about this particular Irish jaw-breaker: apologies for continuing similar-ish theme. Graiguenamanagh's "county border" situation occasions the settlement's having effectively two names: west of the river in Kilkenny, it's the G-place; east thereof in Carlow, it's Tinnahinch. Things are rather similar re Bures in East Anglia, split by the River Stour dividing Essex from Suffolk. The Essex part is the parish of Bures Hamlet; the Suffolk ditto, Bures St. Mary.
