Thomas Raymond Mays CBE (1899 – 1980) was a racing driver and entrepreneur from Bourne, Lincolnshire. He was renowned for competing at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in Worcestershire, in the early 1920s with a pair of Brescia Bugattis, known as 'Cordon Bleu' and 'Cordon Rouge'.

Southampton has produced a large number of musicians throughout its history, including the hymn writer Isaac Watts, who was born in Southampton in 1674 and whose composition "O God, Our Help in Ages Past" is played by the bells of Southampton Civic Centre.
