The resident population of the City of London is about 9,400, approximately equal to Caernarfon

PS - the HQ of the City of London is actually the Guildhall, which is right in the middle of the City. City Hall, just the other side of Tower Bridge, is actually the HQ of the Greater London Authority.

Pinsley Mill in Leominster was one of the first four mechanised cotton mills in the world, set up by Lewis Paul and John Wyatt in the 1740s. Another was Marvell's Mill in Northampton.

If one goes to Northampton Trip Advisor suggests a visit to Stanwick lakes

Stanwick holds an annual teddy bears' parachute jump from the top of the church tower in aid of church funds. A similar event but from the top of a West Midlands Fire Service ladder was held this year in Pelsall in aid of Action for Children.

Brentford is where the Grand Union Canal joins the Thames . Another arm of the canal went to Paddington basin which has now been gentrified with shops and offices.

The Newmarket sausage is a pork sausage made to a traditional recipe originated from Newmarket. There are three varieties of this sausage: Musk, Powters and Eric Tennant Butchers. Musk sausages originate from Stechworth, but began selling them in Newmarket.
