Okay, moving on, then .... apart from Aberdeen FC, the other senior team in the city is Cove Rangers FC of the Highland Football League (HFL).

One of the teams that they play are the splendidly named Forres Mechanics Football Club, who from the town of Forres, Moray. Their unusual name is variously stated to come from the town's Mechanics Institute or most likely when a group of craftsmen or mechanics split from an earlier Forres team to form their own club.
