The city of Dundee also has two teams in the Scottish Premier League.

Err .... it's red face time, as I've realised that this statement is incorrect! Dundee does have two professional football clubs, but Dundee play in the Scottish Premiership and Dundee United play in the Scottish Championship.

However, to continue from Forfar .... The town is traditionally identified with the Forfar Bridie, a meat pastry snack popular with locals and visitors, although strictly it comes from the nearby village of Glamis.

The Scots Mining Company House in Leadhills was built in 1736 for James Stirling, the managing agent of the Scots Mining Company. It is attributed to the architect William Adam, and is now a category A listed building. William Adam also built Duff House in the town of Banff, Aberdeenshire.
