Despite much intensive research, I have been unable to trace any settlement named as that shown above.

The nearest named one that I have actually traced records for is that of MAULDS MEABURN, which is situated in the county of Cumbria.

Kings Meaburn is the other part of the historic manor that was originally granted by the king....also both the settlements are subject to a named strong north-easterly wind called the Helm Wind.
