Ford lends its name to a character in the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, as does Dent.

St Albans, aka 'The Gateway to Hatfield', was also a location where two episodes of the 63rd series of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue were recorded.

Huntingdon is where the diarist Samuel Pepys attended school. He was the MP for Harwich at one time.

A quick comment on the last post. The rules listed at the start of the quiz are:-
  • Repeating any of the previous three clues or names of settlements in a link is forbidden (you can of course quote a previous post)
  • Associations provided should be clearly dissimilar to each of the previous three associations.
  • Settlements may be anywhere in the United Kingdom.
  • A description of the association should be incorporated in each posting, without simply posting the name only.
Rule 2 means two consecutive associations of "was born in .... was MP for .." are not strictly valid.
However it was posted by a new participant, so let's overlook it this time and continue from Sutton with ....

Cambridge also has a church dedicated to St Barnabas.
