This works in exactly the same manner as the Station Association Quiz, only this thread concentrates on the thousands of inhabited locales throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland instead of their railway stations. As such, a small request has been made in the Station Association Quiz to keep everything in that thread railway-related from here on.

Oliver Sutton, Bishop of Lincoln between 1280 - 1299, was largely responsible for the renaming of Ashby Puerorum ("Little Boys' Ashby") after he assigned the revenues of the vicarage of Ashby to the upkeep of the boys of the cathedral choir. Bishop Sutton died in 1299 at the Bishop's Palace in Nettleham, Lincolnshire.
