If the phone box at Swaby is broken then there is a choice of walking along the road to nearby White Pit or along the edge of the stream to South Thoresby but South Thoresby has the Vine Inn ;)

Assuming it's Dumfries, Cromford also featured on an episode of the CI series, A Town and Country Murder.

The Settlement Association Quiz .... Rules:
  • 1)...Repeating any of the previous three clues or names of settlements in a link is forbidden (you can of course quote a previous post)
  • 2)...Associations provided should be clearly dissimilar to each of the previous three associations.
  • 3)...Settlements may be anywhere in the United Kingdom.
  • 4)...A description of the association should be incorporated in each posting, without simply posting the name only.

Since Adamstown is in the the Dublin region of Eire, does that contravene Rule 3 above that are the rules of this particular quiz as shown in the very first posting on the quiz ?
