Sorry but I have been unable to find a settlement called Tineley.

There is a Tynely to the SSW of Ellingham about which I, sadly, know nothing at all

The spelling of Tyneley, to which you refer above, is a later-known spelling of Tineley, which was the name of the settlement that was administered in the early Middle Ages in medieval times in Ellingham parish.

another small hamlet, which used to be administered by the neighbouring larger parish of Golcar, West Yorkshire [although now both in the remit of Kirklees Council]

Interesting the only feature of interest you could find in Dukinfield was the crematorium!

King Robert the Bruce once lived in Cardross.
On his death in 1329, he was buried in the Abbey at Dunfermline.
