Whose first organist was Frederick William Herschel, a composer and astronomer. He is credited with the discovery of Uranus amongst other important scientific discoveries.

He is buried in the church of St Laurence at Upton near Slough.

William Hazlitt, essayist, was born in Maidstone.
He was buried at St Anne's Church, Soho, London.
[He did one or two things in between, too]

The 16th c. composer Thomas Tallis died in Greenwich.
His first professional appointment is thought to have been as organist at Dover Priory in 1530.

EDIT - too late! Farewell Tallis!

OK - I'll try again! :D

[I was tempted to say "Sheffield" is also on a Meridian line ]

But I'll settle for this:-

St James' Church, Louth is noted for its fine, tall spire.

St Botolph's Church in Boston is noted for its fine tall tower.

That is the last area where red kites still live - others are the result of reintroduction programmes.

Henley Town FC are known as the Red Kites.

Mousehole also has an animal-inspired name.

Disclaimer: Cowes may not be named after the homonymous animal.
