Lybster hosts the world Knotty Championship.
Shinty is a variant of Knotty.
Newtonmore has been the Shinty League champion team since 2010.

The Highland Folk Museum at Newtonmore was a Gold Award winner in the Green Tourism Business Scheme; as was The Threshold Centre at Gillingham in Dorset.

Salisbury is at the confluence of five rivers - one of them is the River Ebble.

This is not to be confused with the River Hebble, which meets the River Calder at Salterhebble - originally a village and now a district of Halifax.

Rushbearing is a traditional ceremony that takes place here. Another festival that is firmly rooted in the history of this nation is Well Dressing. This custom is closely associated with Staffordshire and Derbyshire, where it is said to have originated in Tissington in 1349

Just when I thought my inspiration was beginning to flag, I remembered that Flagg is also on the Limestone Trail.
