A landmark of Liverpool is the Liver Building, whose birds gave the inspiration to Carla Lane who wrote the comedy "The Liver Birds" which starred Nerys Hughes, who was born in Rhyl.

The Welsh broadcaster and journalist, Patrick Hannan, was born in Aberaman. He began his journalistic career writing for the college newspaper of Aberystwyth University.

In the same way that the RMT (Ruthin Musical Theatre) is not a union, the student accomodation in Kings Cross provided by Unite is not provided by a union.

As far as I am aware, the Standard Fireworks factory at Crosland Moor [Huddersfield], is still in existence.

Unfortunately, Westhoughton saw the third-worst British Mining disaster in 1910.

The worst was at Senghenydd in 1913.
