Nottingham also contains a bus depot owned by the Wellglade group.
(Wellglade includes Trentbarton and Kinchbus and a half share in High Peak buses).

I must confess that when I was younger, I used to mis-read this town as "Kilmalcom" :roll:

Apparently it's name derives from the Scots Gaelic meaning "Church of Columba"

There is the Abbey and Community established by Columba on Iona.

The churches at both Wellows appear to have unusual dedications:-
Wellow, Somerset [of packhorse bridge fame] is dedicated to St Julian the Hospitaller.

Wellow [Nottinghamshire], is dedicated to St Swithin.
