Wick is a common ending for settlement names in the United Kingdom. A completely random example of this would be Southwick, near Hove.
I can only take that as a very kind compliment - thank you. This may not strictly speaking qualify as a quiz per se, but it is most definitely the most educational thread currently - if not ever? - active in this section of the forum. The scope for everyone to learn from others is staggering.
