Dartford is also home to a rather grand bridge.

I could have chosen somewhere around the Severn, but that's too close to Avonmouth to justify, whereas the other easy option is too close to Hull to justify...

Wigan is another large town in the Manchester-Merseyside (etc) economic area.

Hackney carrage type taxis can be found in almost all cities in the UK but they are particularly distictive in Derby being painted bright yellow.

The City of Derby may not be known for racing, but the Derby is a famous event elsewhere in the country - specifically in Epsom.
