What on earth is sheep trekking?
Anyway, the nuclear power station at Trawsfynedd is now closed down. So is Calder Hall, part of the Sellafield complex, which is near to Calder Bridge.

The Apollo Pavilion at Peterlee was designed in 1970 by Victor Pasmore, the British artist and architect who pioneered the development of abstract art in Britain in the 1940s and 1950s. It provided a focal point for the Sunny Blunts estate as well as a bridge across a water-course, and was named after the Apollo moon missions. Victor Pasmore CH CBE was born in Chelsham, Surrey, on 3rd December 1908.

Brandon is situated on the A1065 Mildenhall to Fakenham road, as does the village of Mundford in Norfolk.

On 16th December 1942 Abwehr agent Eddie Chapman was dropped by parachute from a German aircraft on a mission to sabotage the de Havilland factory at Hatfield. He was intended to land near Mundford but got stuck in the aircraft hatch so actually landed fifteen miles away at Littleport! He surrendered to the local police and offered his services to MI5.

Glasson Dock is located on a branch of the Lancaster Canal. Construction of this canal was never completed to the original plan, which would have seen its southern terminus at Westhoughton.

The furthest point actually reached by the Lancaster canal, before its southern section was subsumed into the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, was Aspull.

Ramsbottom was also once administered by the Hundred of Salford.

The All Nations Christian College in Stanstead Abbotts was used as a filming location for the original "St Trinian's" films - as was the Longmoor Military Railway near Liss
