Colchester is home to the Army's only, ahem, 'military corrective training centre,' which is colloquially known as "The Glasshouse" after the original military prison in Aldershot. (The original had a glazed roof - hence the nickname.)

Edinburgh Castle sits atop Castle Rock, which is a basalt volcanic plug. The castle at Deganwy was also built on a similar volcanic plug.

Holy Trinity Church in Colton was consecrated in 1578. In 1890 it was restored by Lancaster architects Paley, Austin and Paley. That same year they were also repsonsible for the restoration of St Alkelda's church in Giggleswick, North Yorkshire.

Dunholme in the Durham area is another place where the body of St Cuthbert was taken to protect it.

There's also a place called Dunholme in Lincolnshire.

With Lincolnshire in mind, in Lincoln itself, the parish church of St Peter at Gowts' is also a Grade I listed building....as is the church at Dunholme
