One of my pet easy options -- Great Yarmouth also has a namesake settlement in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. (The Nova Scotia town concerned, is called just Yarmouth; but I learn that its naming is, "by devious routes", after Great Yarmouth, Norfolk; not Yarmouth, Isle of Wight.)

Saint Osgyth or Osyth -- fl. in the 7th century -- was, at any rate allegedly, buried at Aylesbury: making the town a big pilgrimage-destination in medieval times. She is also commemorated, in her name, by the settlement of St. Osyth, Essex (between Clacton and Brightlingsea). She established in this spot, a convent; and ruled as its first abbess.
