Hey everyone,
My husband and I had our first stay in the Yorkshire Dales this summer for the first time in 30 years. Not only did we have ace weather but we also made good use of the S & C. My husband (not a railway enthusiast) remarked that all the stations looked really nice, which of course they are. Can anyone tell me why with the exception of the down platform at Ribblehead all the structures survived after closure in 1970?
Best wishes,
Angela
