SES Group staff at Crewe

I've noticed at Crewe this week (early evenings) additional platform staff with SES Group hi-viz on.

Usually a few on platform 5 and a couple on platform 6. Are they security or additional Avanti staff? The Avanti platform staff are still there despatching trains but slightly less staff numbers.

Never seen or heard of SES Group before so just curious as to their role.

A quick Google shows them as a security firm. Lots of event/crowd control work. Currently recruiting station security officers for Hemel Hempstead and London stations

As above it will be for eurovision. They are seen at major events as security staff, also note they act as network rail csas at major stations

That is possibly why all the Liverpool trains have been on Platform 12 at Crewe today. Better crowd control?

Agency staff to support with larger events. Most TOCs use similar agency staff to bolster numbers for the very short-term as required.

Sorry Liverpool Lime Street does not have a Platform 12. It only has eleven - Platforms 1-10 and Platform A.
