Is there any way to gain information about service Consist/Formation lengths from NR CIF files/OpenData?
FREIGHT
- What freight flows run as what overall lengths?
- Can this be drawn out (automated from) the NR CIF?
- If not can timing load values 'roughly' be transposed into lengths (SLUs or Metres)?
PASSENGER
- Is it possible to know from within the NR CIF/OpenData which services run as multiple formed DMU/EMU sets?
(Thinking specifically, is it flagged in data... not generalised - in Peak Hours etc.)
I'm not looking for individual services, but a blanket data retrieval.
I have access to NR CIFs, but not to live feed data TRUST etc.
