And the booking for National Rail services is still not working properly. When using the front page it's not possible to return on the same day and railcards are not passed onto the booking engine.

I only know the shower room at Fort William is within the station buildings, no advance booking required,just show your first class ticket or money at Crianlarich you apparently go to the adjacent hotel for a shower.
I would think at Euston you do not need to book in advance, but I am sure with all the stations it is better if you swiftly exit the train and get to the showers before any other passengers.

She wants to travel to Dundee, and is used to being able to choose between the Highland train, or the Lowland train, changing at Edinburgh and leaving London later.

But when she puts London to Dundee into the new website, the only option it gives her is the 2115 one. That's no good. It looks like this applies to all destinations north of Ed/Glasgow.

Not unexpected, it's been on the cards for weeks. It's for a publicity shoot in Fort Bill. Now the rest of the stock will be re-liveried over the coming weeks and months along with at least 1 more 67.

At Euston there can, from my (admittedly Monday morning, so peak) experience, be a long queue.

Yes, a walk up one but not with the reservation included.

Moreover, you can't get a through advance fare because the routing is CAL SLEEPER or CAL SLEEPER SEAT.

No surprise considering the new contract started this afternoon. 92018 already on it's way north with 1S25, 92038 is allocated on 1M11 and 92044 in the frame for 1S26 though it looks like 90018 has taken the stock into Euston for the latter (86101 appears to be oos)

It probably makes sense from an image point of view, but vinyling a locomotive just for ECS moves seems like overkill!

Sleeper passengers are more likely to see that loco than the one pulling their train! It's what they'll see when they descend the ramp to the platform at Euston.

They do sell the full range of tickets except for ones on their own services. I don't think anyone ever considered requiring TOCs to sell tickets on their own trains!

Referencing the Oor Wullie cartoon tradition of a hat jumping up, it also looks a bit surprised (as well it might).
I wonder if the stag can get all the Freeview channels with those antlers?

Is it not odd that 7396x's have been freshly painted in GBRF livery, will they be re-liveried when they start on the sleepers?

Different locos! First batch are for Network Rail. Later conversions are going to be for Sleepers (numbers are about but not got them to hand) and these I presume will be painted into CS livery.

Going with the urgency to paint everything in sleeper corporate colours at the moment, we can safely assume that the new 73's will be decked out in full regalia as well!

90018 was on the other end. 86101 brought the stock in as expected.
