Nothing further received by email or otherwise, what should I do next?

Ring them and ask for the case to be resolved immediately. If they are unable to do this, contact Transport Focus.

Finally managed to speak late last night to a very helpful and competent assistant, who looked up the emailed reply references on the system; the reply today was "I can confirm that I am going to send you a cheque for £192.75 and £50 rail travel vouchers ", the vouchers being unasked for, but in some compensation for delay and time taken etc.

The moral, if there is one, is that things get stuck in the various systems for long times for whatever reason ( journey with cancelled trains was Sept 10th 2016) and persistence and keeping records is unfortunately up to you.

Good travelling!

I got delayed in early November (when they had the broken down freight train at Westbury) did a delay claim and forgot about it and have only just got a reply, luckily it was to say sorry for the delay and they are going to send me a cheque for £30, more than the cost of the whole return journey, which I suppose given the delay in replying was justified but it was surprised that it came so out of the blue.

Same for me with a delay from early November, hopefully the cheques will come sooner rather than later
