Sending to other PCs

Does anyone know if its possible to send .SAV files to another computer? Is it as easy as just attaching the file to an email and just emailing it to them, and if they have the same version of openTTD they can play it?

Yes, but email is inefficient and the files may be large. Consider using yousendit or soemthing instead. If they do not have the same GRF files it won't look right. If they are on an older version the game won't load.

The .sav are fairly small files. The saves I have are under 1mb so are fine for e-mailing

Ah, I think my saves are on smaller map sizes. I havn't used openttd recently.
